➢ I am DC Durward’s line manager.
➢ DC Durward is currently engaged on another matter outside London but will be returning late this
week/early next week.
➢ I note that you are due an update on the matter being investigated.
➢ DC Durward is nearing completion of his extensive report which has been made a priority in his
workload.
➢ Once completed, this will be forwarded for final decision by a senior officer.
➢ A copy of the report will be sent to you at this stage.
➢ I am anticipating that this matter will shortly be concluded.
