Dear Mr Cordell,
➢ I am in receipt of your email; these have been printed off and passed to the reopening section to deal
with. There is a backlog due to the huge number of requests to reopen, but you will hear from someone in
due course.

Subject: Wrongful conviction and request to set aside the conviction and reopen the case
Dear Sir or Madam
I have emailed your court on a number of occasions regarding my conviction and sentence for no insurance.
I am making this request to have my case listed in order that I can do the following.
1. Application to set aside the conviction
2. Reopen the case
Application to set aside the conviction: On 22nd July 2012 I was stopped and given a producer by the
police as they did not believe that I held a valid policy of insurance.
I attended the police station, and I was advised that my case would be going to court, and I would be
summonsed in due course.
